A Bed Is A Door
The project A Bed Is A Door consists of a series of blankets made by the artist Jacopo Mazzetti in order to receive and accumulate the sleep of artists, musicians and researchers.
Villa Romana has two copies of the work integrating the activities in its programme. A Bed Is A Door is an itinerant project created to stimulate the possibilities offered by lucid dreams to experience a reality that is not determined by the laws of physics, opening a small hidden door to the primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego can ever reach.
