The African Diaspora Cinema Festival will take place in its second year at Villa Romana. It has been initiated and is still directed by Nigerian filmmaker Fide Dayo, who has been living in Italy for a long time. ADCF is aimed at a broad audience who shares a common interest for stories that depict the lives of people of color. It offers a window on the African experience, on the African continent itself and elsewhere.
For the artists’ house Villa Romana it is a great enrichment to be able to show the thirteen nominated films of this year's festival and to welcome many of the participating filmmakers on location and in discussions.
