Nora Schultz will be the new professor for Sculpture and Installation at the Vienna Academy
Nora Schultz was the winner of the Villa Romana Award in 2011. Starting February 2022, she will be leading the studio for Sculpture and Installation at the Institute for Fine Arts.Nora Schultz earned her degree from Städelschule, Frankfurt, in 2005 and has also studied at the MFA programme at Bard College, NY. Recent solo exhibitions include O-Ton and the O-Ton at O-Town House, Los Angeles, Two-Chambered Ears at Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi, Berlin, (both 2021) and would you say this is the day? at Secession, Vienna (2019). She realized solo performances at The Whitney Museum, NY and at Tate Modern, London and took part in Skulptur Projekte Münster in 2017. Schultz has taught at International Summer Academy Salzburg (2015 /2016), at Kunstakademie München (2015), at Kunstakademie Karlsruhe (2013) and as a professor for sculpture in the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies at Harvard University (2016 – 2021).
